Snowshoe Superbowl Sunday

By on February 8, 2016

If you were as lucky as our group, you had a chance to ski at Snowshoe this past weekend. The sun was shining on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was great early but did get a little icy and crowded later on.

Always, I repeat ALWAYS, head over to Silver Creek on Saturday afternoons. The crowds are minimal and the skiing is fantastic. Check out my video clip below that I posted on instagram.

Ski over to Soaring Eagle lift and catch the shuttle bus to Silver Creek. It’s the first stop and you’ll get a seat so you do not have to stand on the ride over.

Superbowl Sunday was by far our best day of this season. The trail conditions were amazing and the crowds were half of what we saw on Saturday.

Looking ahead, Snowshoe is expecting around a foot of snow this week. If your plans are flexible, we have an opening on Feb 9 – 11. Contact us soon as it should fill quickly.
